Activities and Classes

 

Tuesday mornings at 9:00 A.M. this group meets downstairs in room L-9. They enjoy hand quilting and fellowship. As a quilt ministry 25-30 quilts are created each year that are donated to various help organizations in Topeka. If you are interested in participating simply come on a Tuesday morning or call the church office for more information.  

 

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. For more information contact Tiwana Whitten.

 

Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 P.M., instructor Ben Saathoff will teach you basic yoga skills.  This is a beginner course and all ages and skill levels are welcome.  Come join us in the Peaceful Kingdom room for a relaxing evening in a peaceful environment.  This is an open ended group, so come and go as your schedule permits.

 

Enjoy an evening of fun, fellowship and board games.  Join us in the Celebration Room on one of our game nights that take place on Sundays from 4:00-6:00 P.M.  Bring your favorite board or card game and a snack to share.  All ages and skill levels welcome. Check our calendar for dates.

 

Financial Peace University is a 13 week life-changing program led by Mitchell Fick, that teaches how to make the right decisions with your money. You'll be empowered with the practical skills and confidence needed to achieve your financial goals and experience true financial peace.  We hold a Spring and Fall session.  Contact Tiwana Whitten for more information.
