VIM

Volunteers in Mission is a program of the United Methodist Church that is just what the name implies - teams of volunteers who go to be in mission wherever they are needed. VIM teams go as near as the next town and as far away as Africa, Russia and Poland.

The Kansas East Conference has a long tradition of sending teams to Haiti and Mexico, but has many other opportunities also. Julie Pohl is the Conference VIM Coordinator and she maintains a VIM web site with information about upcoming mission trips, training, etc.
